Permissions Our Apps Request

Our Apps may request the following device permissions. All permissions are used only on your device and only for the stated purpose.

Location Permission

Some of our Apps request location permission. This is required by Android and iOS in order to read the name (SSID) of the Wi-Fi network your device is connected to. When location permission is used for this purpose:

We do not use GPS coordinates
We do not track or record your physical location
We do not transmit location data to any server
The Wi-Fi network name is displayed only on your device and is not saved after the App closes

Nearby Wi-Fi Devices (Android 13+)

Required on newer Android versions to discover devices on your local Wi-Fi network. No location data is accessed.

Local Network Access (iOS)

Required to discover devices on your local Wi-Fi network using standard protocols such as Bonjour/mDNS. No data leaves your local network.

Data Transmission

When our Apps communicate over a network, they do so only with devices on your local Wi-Fi network or with servers explicitly required by a feature. Our Apps do not send information to our servers or to third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Storage

Our Apps do not store personal information on your device beyond standard operating system preferences (such as remembering your permission choices).

Third-Party Services

Our Apps do not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data collection services.

Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Security

Because our Apps do not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data for us to secure centrally. Communication between our Apps and devices on your local network follows the security configuration of that network.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the relevant App.
